A Title VI Public Participation Plan helps ensure that transportation planning is open, accessible, and fair for all members of the public, including people who have historically had limited access to public decision making processes. The plan outlines how the CRV RPO will share information, invite public input, reduce barriers to participation, and provide meaningful opportunities for residents, tribes, communities, businesses, and partner organizations to help shape regional transportation priorities.

The Copper River Valley Regional Planning Organization formally adopted its Title VI Public Participation Plan in February 2026. This adoption strengthens the RPO’s commitment to transparent, inclusive, and federally compliant public involvement as it develops the Copper River Valley Regional Long Range Transportation Plan and other regional transportation planning efforts.
